¡Hola de Señora Jacobs!
I was born and raised in Fruitport, the youngest of SEVEN Trojans! I am now a teacher at Fruitport and am raising my family here. I enjoy being a part of the community that has given me so much. I attended Muskegon Community College and Western Michigan University, where I earned my degree in education, with a major in Spanish and a minor in English. I have been a teacher at Fruitport for 23 years. I am married to Dan and we have two children, Landon and Reese. My husband is a teacher as well. We love spending time together at the beach, the beautiful "Up North," and Disneyworld! I also enjoy reading, sports, and traveling. I have been fortunate enough to visit many states, as well as Mexico, Spain, France, Germany, and Italy. As a teacher, my hope is to spark an interest in Spanish and/or other languages, and to show the many advantages of being bilingual in today's world. I love to see my former students benefitting from their study of Spanish…both professionally and personally! Go Blue! |
